| As
provided
in our bylaws,
membership in the church is open
to all who seek the greater knowledge and abide by the Wiccan Rede.
There
are no dues or tithes required of members. An Initiation service is
provided
to members who request it, but it is not a requirement for
membership.
Membership
is open to persons 18 years of age or older or to emancipated minors.
The
church respects the right of parents to control the religious
environment
of their children and requires parental consent for any child who
wishes
to participate in church activity. Children are welcome with parental
consent.
Levels of
Membership
Full
Membership
People
who wish to become members of the church and agree to accept the Wiccan
Rede as a guide to life may make application to the church council. If
they are determined to be sincere then they will be granted membership.
These members are considered active in the church and are able to vote
at business meetings and may be found qualified to hold an elected
position
or to serve as clergy. Members are formally welcomed at the next
appropriate
church service after the acceptance of their application and may, if
they
desire, request an Initiation ceremony at that time.

Associate
Membership
Some
people may wish to affiliate themselves with the church and abide by
the
Rede but not desire full membership. Associate members are entitled to
every benefit of membership including full voting rights, but are
barred
from holding office or serving as clergy. They are free to re-apply to
full membership whenever they wish.

Non-Member
Friends
Those
individuals who, for whatever reason, do not wish to seek membership or
formally affiliate themselves with the church, but who are deemed by
the
council friendly to the church and her goals, may, at their discretion,
be entered in the rolls as a "non-member friend". No voting privileges
are extended to these individuals, nor are they considered qualified
for
elected posts or ordination, but in other respects are treated as
members
and are encouraged to make the church their spiritual home.
